EQCHEN Commercial Refrigeration use Corrosion-resistant stainless steel exterior and interior. There are several types of metal commonly used in the construction of commercial refrigeration, including aluminum, cast iron, chrome, copper, and steel. The two types of metal most often used on the interior and exterior of refrigeration equipment are aluminum and steel. Stainless steel costs more compared to aluminum: When we compare aluminum to stainless steel commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel has a higher initial cost. But because it’s more durable, it lasts longer, saving you money in the long run. Stainless Steel interior durable life > 10 years vs aluminum interior durable life < 3 years.

EQCHEN Refrigeration units use R290 (HC), which is a highly refined propane and the safest, most environment-friendly option today rather than the use of hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants R134a and R404a, commonly used for refrigerators and freezers. The use of HFC refrigerants R134a and R404a are considered a great threat for environment for their level of GWP (Global Warming Potential), which is a way to determine how much heat greenhouse gases gather in the atmosphere. Thus, low level of GWP determines a less harmful activity for the environment. The R290 (HC) used in our Hydrocarbon Refrigerant units has a much lower GWP than other traditional refrigerant.
